The power of personal essays and memoirs lie in their unflinching honesty and rawness of emotion, allowing a reader to feel seen in someone else's story. But to write this way requires true self-analysis, elimination of embarrassment, and the ability to craft a story truthfully from memory. In this workshop, learn how to do just that—as well as what makes a good subject for personal narrative, how to excavate your own feelings and put them on the page, and what to do when the writing gets emotional. _________________
