2010  Conference Is Sold Out


Advance registration is required, by February 12, 2010.

Please note that the registration form (link above) is a standard form provided by Chesapeake College. You do not have to be a Maryland resident to attend.
We welcome all writers.


Fees:  $89 General Admission; $55 Students with valid ID

Admission fee covers all conference sessions, a continental breakfast, networking lunch, and refreshments. Books by the speakers and other writers will be available for purchase and signing in the conference book store.

Preliminary schedule with detailed session descriptions, including speaker biographies, is listed on the 2010 Program link (top).

You can select up to five sessions from 19 programs, on the day of the conference. Each session is one hour except for three writing workshops, which are 1 ½ hours: “Free Write,” “A Prompt at a Time,” and the “Metaphor - Poetry” workshops.

“Registration Steps” are on the Registration Form link. You will receive a confirmation from the college after your registration and payment have been received.

Note: the college is closed from Dec. 21 to Jan. 4 for the holidays, and confirmations may be delayed during that period.

Important Considerations:
No children are permitted, and no pets are allowed, except service animals.

Cancellation Policy:
There are no refunds unless you cancel your registration before February 12, 2010.




Weather Cancellation Policy:
If the conference is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the conference
will reimburse you for part of the fee (the fee, minus costs already been incurred
by the conference).  Payment will be within 60 days of cancellation.
