Professional Manuscript Reviews

MANUSCRIPT REVIEW GUIDELINES 2015

Conference attendees may arrange for a one-on-one manuscript review for a fee of $55. The writer will receive a half hour, private conference with a published author/instructor who will have been assigned your piece and give you constructive comments about all aspects of your writing, including plot, style, dialogue, conflict, point of view, etc. You will also receive a written review from your reviewer.

This year we are fortunate to have a premier writer of personal essay and memoir, who will be joining our team of reviewers. If this is your genre, please don’t miss this chance to sit down and have a review by him. Spaces for this are very limited.

Also, we continue to encourage poets to participate and receive a thorough review of your work.

This opportunity is limited to a first-come basis.

Manuscripts must be submitted by January 15, 2015 so the reviewers will have ample time to prepare properly. Writers will be contacted by the manuscript reviewer in advance about your time and any other questions you may have.

Reviewers for the 2015 conference are: Austin Camacho, Melanie Rigney, and Barbara Esstman for fiction and Sue Ellen Thompson, Poetry, and George Merrill for personal essay and memoir. If any changes occur with your reviewer or assignment you will be notified in advance of the conference.
